Dexcel Pharma is an international, research-based, specialty pharmaceutical company, employing over 900 people, with a presence in 19 countries worldwide, including subsidiaries in the US, UK and Germany.
 
Dexcel Pharma's portfolio consists of more than 50 branded and generic products in over 140 dosages, with 2009 sales of 3.9 billion tablets/capsules, totaling US$254 milllion. Around 85% of sales are to the large international markets. Forecasted 2010 sales are of 5.4 billion tablets/capsules, totaling US$260 million.

Dexcel Pharma is the 2nd largest Israeli pharmaceutical manufacturer ranked by sales value, and the 2nd largest supplier in sales volume – it supplies 25% of the branded and generic pharmaceuticals sold in Israel, well ahead of all other local and international players.

Dexcel Pharma’s corporate HQ, R&D and newly-expanded manufacturing facilities are in Or Akiva, Israel, with a new, state of the art, 5-floor gravity-feed, paperless, electronic manufacturing plant of tablets/capsules in nearby Yokneam, and a smaller manufacturing unit in Jerusalem (see Manufacturing Facilities).

Dexcel Pharma celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding in September 2008.
